Clematis 'Pink Fantasy'

Clematis 'Pink Fantasy' thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained, fertile soil. It prefers the roots to be cool and shaded, which can be achieved by mulching or planting ground cover at the base.

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Apply a balanced fertiliser in early spring and again in midsummer. Prune in late winter or early spring by cutting back all stems to a pair of strong buds about 15-30 cm above ground level to encourage new growth.

Common pests include aphids and slugs, which can be managed with insecticidal soap and slug repellents. Diseases like clematis wilt can occur; ensure good air circulation and avoid overhead watering to prevent fungal issues. Remove any affected foliage promptly to maintain plant health.
